The Obama administration has just announced that it will seek a seat at the United Nations Human Right Council, joining such paragons of democracy like Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Cameroon, China, Cuba, Djibouti, Jordan, Malaysia, Mauritius, the Russian Federation, Saudi-Arabia and Senegal.
