Not the Brightest Lightbulb in PBS's Chandelier

Here is a video of Ayaan Hirsi Ali being interviewed by Tavis Smiley on PBS.  Ms. Ali, who was born a Muslim, and who has studied Islam and has been a victim of Islam, was explaining the role of Islam in Islamism and terrorism, when Smiley went on to argue that there are more examples in the United States of Christian than Muslim violence.  Of course, he is too ignorant to differentiate between random acts of violence where innocent people die, and targeted terror by Muslim Jihadists.

Well, we the taxpayers will continue to pay the salary of this most incompetent member of the mainstream media who owes his position to affirmative action.

Jumping to Conclusions

As I was watching the news reports on the developments in Ft Hood, I couldn't help but cringe at the number of times that I kept hearing different variations of the "Let's not jump to conclusions" mantra. Even president Obama gave us this exhortation and cautioned against a backlash against Muslims. I guess he was worried that the Saudi king would be upset. In his next visit, Obama will have to bow even deeper than he did last time they met.

Yet, the media itself was far from following this advise. Only that they jumped to conclusions that were palatable to the liberal, left wing mindset. They cannot watch a terror attack without jumping to conclusions as to the reasons that pushed the attacker to commit this brutal act. The early reports refrained from giving us the name of the shooter even though it was already circulating on the Internet thanks to Drudge. News organizations were worried that we might jump to conclusions that will taint the peace loving Muslim community. When the name of Major Malik Nidal Hasan was finally released, the media “jumped to the conclusion” that he was an American convert to Islam. We wouldn’t want viewers to assume that someone born into the Muslim faith could commit such an act.

But eventually we found out that Hasan was indeed born and raised a Muslim. When this was reported, the media had no choice but to go into spin and victimology mode. We were told that Hasan was a troubled man, afraid of being deployed to Afghanistan. He didn’t want to treat killers of Muslims; he was discriminated against by the military. He was given a poor evaluation report; he was against the war. At no point did our enlightened reporters use the dreaded ”T’” word. Terrorist. Let’s not jump to conclusions.

The fact is that Hasan is a terrorist who committed an act of terror, and did so in the name of Islam, a religion that he was born into, practiced and proselytized. The last words out of his mouth before squeezing the triggers in his guns were Allah u-akhbar, the battle cry of Islamists and suicide bombers.

The insanity defense is not valid. Only insane people carry on Islamic and suicide terrorism. Does anyone really believe that those who got into airplanes on September 11, 2001 were normal people? Palestinians have long sought people with psychological problems to strap on dynamite belts and blow themselves up. The fanaticism of Islamism and the concept of Jihad are a manifestation of a mental disorder. Whether the insanity is genetic or inflicted makes no difference. Islamism is insanity.

As for the fearful Muslim community in America, you can demonstrate you loyalty to this country not just by condemning the acts of terror, which you always do with the qualifier “however,” but by massively demonstrating against terror. We are aware that you are a community capable of mobilizing. We saw this in France and Denmark. We see it in the West Bank and Gaza. In Islamabad, Berlin and London. But always to demonstrate against the homelands that gave you the freedom and financial security that you never had in your native lands.

It’s about time that the Muslim community in the West realizes that you cannot live in the 21st century economically and in the 10th century culturally.

Major Hasan was not forced into the military, he volunteered. Muslims around the world were not forced to move to the West, and they are not forced to remain here.

However, Muslims shouldn’t worry. Whatever atrocity they commit, it will be explained and excused by the spineless media.

And yes, I jumped to this conclusion.

The Middle East Quarterly has again done research on the topic and have published an article that warns of the dangers of allowing Islamic input into public schools.

The Religion of Peace Riots Again

Once again members of the religion of peace and believers in the “Most Merciful” are acting in a most unmerciful and non-peaceful way, while rioting in Athens. This time, they allege, because a policeman desecrated the Koran of an illegal Muslim alien in Greece.

For the purpose of discourse, let us assume that the allegation is correct. So what? The Koran is the sacred book of Muslims, and as such, they should treat it with the utmost respect. To me, and millions of what the Muslims refer to as “infidels”, the Koran is not more sacred than The DaVinci Code or Angels and Demons, and just as believable. So, go ahead, riot. Demand respect, as the rioters asked in Athens have. Let me tell you, dear Muslims, give respect, if you want to be respected.

A week ago four Muslims in New York attempted to blow up a couple of synagogues and a USAF plane. Of course this was done also in the name of The Most Merciful. Immediately we heard from politicians about the need to understand that these four Muslims where not real Muslims. That real Muslims condemn such behavior. Radical Muslims are but a tiny minority within Islam. Forty-eight hours later a rabbi and an Imam were hugging for the press in a synagogue in Riverdale. Brotherhood has triumphed again. Or at least till their next attempt to kill us.

And no Jew or Christian has rioted. Perhaps this is our mistake, and we should take a page of the Muslim manual as to how to achieve respect. Let us start rioting in front of the Saudi embassies around the world, asking for the confiscated Bibles taken from Christians upon arrival in this corrupt kingdom which condones slavery, oppression of women, exploitation of children as camel jockeys, decapitations and honor killings, just to name a few elements that many of us find offensive, and are prevalent in the corrupt kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Let us riot demanding the building of churches and other houses of worship on the Arabian Peninsula. Let us riot demanding the right to send preachers to their prisons and try and convert their prisoners into what we consider the true religion.

But reading about Athens I noticed another group, just as guilty as the rioters. The media. The reports are about “immigrants”, the need for respect, understanding, tolerance and diversity. The mantra of the left in their criminally neglect of accurate reporting. Articles around the globe quoted the following sentence “Greek rights activist Thanassis Kourkoulas said the protest showed the migrants ‘have a voice’.” Did any of the reporters bother to check who Kourkoulas is before quoting him? Did they realize that they were quoting a communist revolutionary who in his desire to foment revolution is allying himself with those who upon triumphing would cut his head because of his radical beliefs?

Is it cowardice or is it ignorance that is making reporters paint pictures that are so far removed for reality? What is it about our politicians that makes them repeat again and again “peaceful religion?” How can a religion be deemed peaceful when at he core of its beliefs is the word Jihad? It is only in the non-Muslim world that a debate is taking place as to the meaning of this word. Within the Muslim world Jihad if fully understood. It means holy war. And if a religion can use the term holy war to justify its actions, they cannot clamor for the title of religion of peace. They have given up this right

I am so sick and tired of Muslim wounded pride and imbecilic sensitivity. Come on Muslims, grow up!
